The competitions were held in various kinds of sports, such as Athletics, Basketball, Volleyball, Beach volleyball, Beach-Wrestling, Tennis, Table Tennis, Chess, Football, Mini-Football, Judo, Petanque, Swimming, Wrestling and Catchball.

37 countries and about 4500 participants took part in the competitions.

Latvia represented catchball team for CSIT World Sports Games for the first time. Catchball is a kind of sport, which was started 12 years ago in Israel by an organization named MAMANET. Now it is popular sport all over the world. Between 30 catchball teams, Latvian has took 6th place. It is good result for the team because they started trainings just 1.5 months before competitions started.

For ISMA, these competitions have become an important event, because in Latvian catchball team were two of our colleagues and team coach was ISMA graduate Edgar Spade. We are very proud and happy about their success.

We are willing to promote and develop this sport in our country and hope for the gold next time!
